Review by hotel critic
Review of Kapelhoeve: A Balance of Value and ComfortDuring my recent stay at Kapelhoeve, I found the establishment to be an intriguing choice for visitors to the Belgian coast, particularly for those with access to a car. The indoor heated swimming pool was a notable feature, providing a serene atmosphere after long days of exploration, while the sauna added an extra layer of relaxation. The surroundings are indeed tranquil, offering a peaceful respite from the busier tourist spots. Guests can enjoy a well-furnished lounge area that provides impressive views of the garden. I did find the deluxe room quite compact, likely due to the new furniture taking up significant space. The hotel boasts an outstanding breakfast that sets guests up well for the day ahead. Families will appreciate the warm welcome extended to young children, an essential factor for parents. While Kapelhoeve presents a compelling value proposition, weighing luxury against cost is advisable, especially for those seeking a balance of comfort and budget-friendly options. The experience is worthwhile for those prioritizing a calm setting along the coast.
